The term is associated psychedelic
trance quite ambiguous or even synonymous with the name goa trance. There is no clear distinction between these two terms. The first compilation on Dragonfly was a collection of excerpts from trance and was quickly followed by another compilation called Trance II Project in August 1993. At this stage, the scene was changing rapidly and many labels have been created. Raja Ram and Graham Wood founded their own label, named TIP Records (now called TIP World). It was conducted by Simon Ghahary and benefited from a solid financial assistance from a company of British loudspeakers. Around 1997, the original scene trance goa suffered a tough period, especially the United Kingdom. Sales have dropped and many major labels such as Flying Rhino went bankrupt, while others had to redo and reappear under a new name, as did TIP World.
